Hello August and Hello Winter Wonderland! This month we are starting the Winter Wonderland sew along #verysherrichristmas with Sher Falls of This & That patterns & the Fat Quarter Shop.
Early holiday sewing doesn’t have to end with Christmas in July….so let’s grab some of our favorite fabrics, your Winter Wonderland book and join in the fun!
If you don’t have the book yet …. I have super exciting news! You can skip on over to the Fat Quarter Shop or your favorite participating quilt shop and pick one up.
Or …….> you can leave a comment below for a chance to win your very own copy.
You can tell me about your favorite Christmas memory or tradition or just say hello. Either way, you are automatically entered with your comment. A winner will be chosen Monday morning bright and early so be sure to leave your email address so I can notify you.
Starting with this fresh pine tree and working our way to the last block …. in just a short amount of time we will have a beautiful Sleigh Bell Sampler Quilt made with plenty of time to spare before Christmas.

Adorable and fun and inspiring
A label?! I’ll be watching for it.
My bday is just a few days before Christmas and the two always seemed to go hand in hand. Not always a good thing when you get your birthday in Christmas wrap because it’s handy. Oh well…

Oh such excitement at Christmas time when my daughter was young. She still has fond memories of spending Christmas Eve at Granny’s and waiting for Santa with her cousins.
My favorite Christmas memories are seeing my children’s excitement all month of December…family time, making cookies, decorating tree, Christmas movies, and gifts.
I’d love that book, thanks for the chance to win it. My favorite tradition is making Christmas cookies! I love the fabric in your tree. I’m going to have to look for something like that.

On Christmas eve we always had oyster stew with oyster crackers. Then we would go to Church and when we came home there would be our presents from Santa. It was the most fun and with 11 children in our family always exciting. sewpatsy1@comcast.net

My children’s excitement when they were little is a very special memory. Now that I’m a grandmother, i enjoy doing for the grandchildren. But what I really love is the candlelight love feast at our church on Christmas Eve.

My most cherished
Christmas memories are those of Christmas Eve when we had finished a large fancy homemade dinner, opened gifts and then we all went to church early, to get a seat, and then have
Christmas music and carols for an hour before our Christmas mass.
