Can I move in? Oh ya….we are just visiting.
When you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, you emerge from the tunnel at the train station and straight into Main Street USA . You first enter Town Square with a City Hall and Fire Station. Walking down Main Street, you pass a real barbershop, bakeries, a cinema and all sorts of cute little souvenir shops.
But not before stopping to take a picture in front of this iconic “Let the Memories Begin” area. The Mickey logo behind me is even made from live flowers and greenery.
All the while, you are still in awe of the Castle at the other end. It’s beautiful and breathtaking and you just can’t seem to take your eyes off it.
There is a fun musical parade, live shows in front of the castle and Disney characters everywhere.
Good thing we had a Fast Pass because Emily loved The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride…….I think we rode it at least 5 times. All of us couldn’t get enough of watching Emily’s excitement. It was just being in the middle of a Pooh movie. We were in Emily’s World in that moment without a care in the world.
There was even a time when I thought Emily was going break down the gate to get to that ride. We were standing near a back entrance and she didn’t know. All she knew was she wanted to get onto it again. And nothing was going to stop her. I can see it now. Florida News: Special needs wish child gets arrested for breaking through the security barrier on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Oh hello there friends! It was like Emily, Pooh and Tigger had known each other for real. They had their own language and it was an unforgettable moment in the 100 Aker Wood.
“Promise me, you’ll always remember: you’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. “
This trip was everything we had imagined and more. Meeting Pooh numerous times. Spending the day in the Magic Kingdom. Wearing Minnie Mouse ears. Dancing and clapping during the parade on Main Street. Running into the teenager with a stroller accidentally and making her mad. Eating hot dogs loaded with so many extras they should have their own food group. Taking pictures. Riding It’s a Small World. Watching the Country Bear Jamboree. Seeing Tom and Ashley’s face after they get off the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. {the picture is worth a 1000 words} Taking more pictures.
Do you remember seeing the commercials on TV after someone had done something amazing. The reporter says: “So, now that you’ve won the Gold Metal, what are you going to do now?” Their response: “I’m going to Disneyworld!”
Who wouldn’t?
Here you can be a prince or princess for the day. A sort of fantasy world filled with color and magic. You can step inside Pooh’s tree house and take a peek at Rabbit’s Garden. You can bounce on springs and pretend to be like Tigger. You can meet your favorite Disney characters that you have watched for years on TV. You will walk past landscaping shaped like the characters from Alice in Wonderland. When you see Rapunzel’s tree house, for a moment you will feel like you are in a movie. You will smell popcorn, see Disney shaped balloons and walk past stroller parking lots like you have never seen.
This is where it all comes to life.
To experience the true essence of Disney magic, you really need to step foot into the Magic Kingdom yourself.
Thank you Make a Wish for this amazing experience!
