I have a feeling that May is going to be a fun filled sewing month…….The Fat Quarter Shop always has something exciting in store don’t they?
Today we are using a brand new It’s Sew Emma pattern called Peppermint Bark.
So yummy!
I wanted to have a little fun with this Flag Day Moda Mix Fat Quarter Bundle curated by the Fat Quarter Shop. And coincidentally the bundle was also a great match for a cross stitch project I was starting at the same time.
I also used Grunge Basics Cream for my background fabric and Baltimore Blues Sky Blue Henrietta for the backing and binding.
Timeless. Not modern and not trendy.
and Tinsel approved.
What are you waiting for? Head on over to the Jolly Jabber to purchase your Peppermint Bark pattern and get started.
It’s not easy to push through and finish a quilt sometimes, especially when they involve stars with pinwheels inside them …. but the end result will be so worth it. Stick with it.
Create memories. Create quilts. Create a home and create for love of the game.
See you back here soon! xoxo, Tina
