Good morning and welcome to week 10 of the Pretty Playtime Quilt Along.

This week we are making the cute kitty cat block.

I thought it would be fun to make my Kitty Cat block into a cute wall hanging for our guest room …. so I grabbed a stick from the yard, added some 2½” borders, a 5″ border on the bottom…..

and handstitched some burlap & applique hearts onto the bottom border piece.

Fun & kind of rustic right?

Breakfast on the porch with Elea Lutz’ new Pretty Playtime Quilt Book ….. one of life’s simple pleasures.

Another one of lifes simple pleasures ….. quilt alongs and being able to work on a beautiful quilt week by week. It really takes the pressure off trying to finish a quilt in a short time frame. Sometimes we don’t allow ourselves enough time to enjoy the process do we?
